My son was playing some football Thursday night with the guys here at our complex, and he fractured his rib. So, he has been in a lot of pain, and is very upset that he can't play baseball for the rest of the season.
The grass was still sorta wet, he was running towards clay, slipped, and ended up running into him......took a shoulder to his chest therefore fracturing his 4th right rib. This really stinks, my poor guy!
Busy trying to take care of him, and trying to keep him as comfortable as possible, cause they couldn't wrap/tape him up or anything due to the location of the fracture :( He hasn't been sleeping/resting well, so I've been staying up with him at nights......I'm exhausted!!!
I feel so bad & helpless, wish there was more I could do.
